Moving problem
I have a post-move problem. I recently moved from Cambridge to NYC and the moving company lost my rocking chair during the move. They are still in the process of establishing that is was actually 'lost' - here's what happened:
My rocker was packed with blankets and I watched it go on the truck (it is listed on the mover's inventory, which I received when they packed everything).
A friend supervised the delivery - when they completed the move, he asked twice if he needed to sign anything to certify delivery - the movers insisted he did not. The movers (apparently) counted the number of items delivered, and it matched the original inventory
