I make a rocking chair

Follow our step by step to make this beautiful rocking chair design.

The material

- A chair

- 2 panels solid wood measuring about 100 x 14 x 3 cm

- The white acrylic paint

- 4 nails 8 mm

- A jigsaw blade

- Jigsaw cordless Bosch PST 18 L

- A wood drill 8 mm

- A right angled

- Pencil

- Enough paper to couvrior the painting area

- Sander cordless Bosch PSM 10.8 L

- Spray system Bosch PFS 105

- The Drill Cordless 2 Speed ​​18 The PSR-2 Bosch

Stages of completion

(Completion time: about 6 hours,excluding drying time)

Step 1

Reproduce feet rocking on two boards (of dimension 100 x 14 x 3 cm) using the model and the grid provided.

Step 2

Saw the feet drawn using the jigsaw.

Step 3

Sanding foot sawn using the sander.

Step 4

Peingnez feet with at least two layers of acrylic paint with Bosch spray system.
Once the paint is completely dry,put the chair on the painted feet and mark the position of the legs with the pencil.
Using the screwdriver drill,drill a hole 8 mm wide and 2 inches deep in the middle of the marked positions and the bottom of the leg attached.
Use the holes and four screws to screw the chair feet.
